Kite With Allan is a mobile kiteboarding school offering safe, fun & memorable lessons in and around Calgary and south/central Alberta.
We offer lessons for anyone 13 or older.
Allan has taught kiteboarding to adoring students at home in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and around the world including Trinidad & Tobago, the Cook Islands, St. Kitts & Nevis, and Panama where he spent the past three years as a senior instructor.
In Canada, Allan teaches year-round. He is adept at kite-surfing, land-boarding and snow-kiting.
Allan is a certified level 2 instructor with the International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO).
Kitesurfing is an outdoor water sport where riders use wind power to glide on water with specially designed kites for propulsion.
Minimum 2 hour booking. Most lessons take place at lake sites outside of Calgary where the wind and conditions are suitable.
Learn quickly and save money with this private lesson deal! It usually takes two to three hours for students to master their kite control before heading into the water.
First-time students only, 2 people, 3 hours. Save money and learn with a friend or family member. A super fun way to get started on your kiteboarding journey together. This lesson is on land and focuses on kite control and piloting. Designed to get you ready for private lessons in the water.
By popular demand! First-time students only, 2 people. First three hours are taught as a semi-private lesson and then you transition to five hours of private lessons.
Not sure if kiteboarding is for you? Spend an hour and a half with Allan to find out. Meet in a park and learn the basics about the sport, the gear, and what flying a kite is like. This is a group lesson and requires four participants to run.
All lessons must be pre-paid. GST included in pricing.

cease all one-on-one lessons and training activities.
One-on-one instruction for sports activities cannot proceed outdoors. Effective May 10, 2021 we are suspending all lessons until the mandatory restrictions are lifted.
